Welcome

Our facility specializes in metabolomics, unknown compound identification and quantitative small molecule analysis.  The laboratory was created to provide mass spectrometry training and analysis to the UNC Greensboro Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, the UNCG campus community, and the surrounding Piedmont Triad community. We provide students and researchers with assistance in experiment design, data acquisition, and data analysis. Over the past ten years, our laboratory has trained over 100 students in mass spectrometry, and we currently have 34 trained and active student users.

There are two possible mechanisms for having samples analyzed in our facility. Samples can be submitted for analysis or researchers can run their own samples (following required training) on our instrumentation. Please contact Dr. Daniel A Todd for more information.
